About the role
Seeking a dedicated Customer Relations Specialist to manage client accounts in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This role will involve fostering strong customer connections, facilitating commercial activities, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills, a strong business acumen, exceptional organization, and the ability to work effectively with both clients and colleagues. They should take ownership of client accounts, have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and excel in managing intricate client relationships while supporting business goals. Enhance and maintain current client relationships. Act as the client advocate internally and represent the company externally. Manage RFQs, pricing activities, and client inquiries. Collaborate with internal teams to address quality, delivery, and commercial issues. Conduct client reviews, forecasting, and strategic planning. Monitor client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. Ensure clear communication and collaboration throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements:
Previous account management experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Automotive OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2 suppliers. Proficiency in RFQ ownership, quotation preparation, and proposal management. Strong commercial experience including pricing, contract negotiations, and profitability analysis. Ability to work cross-functionally with various internal departments. Experience in resolving client issues, quality concerns, and providing ongoing support. Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills. Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and business reporting tools. Experience with business reviews, forecasting, and account planning. Some travel may be required.
