Hybrid: Chandler, AZ, Charlotte, NC & Minneapolis, MN6-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $61/hr.
Position Summary: Calculated Hire is in search of a Workday Absence Business Systems Analyst for our Fortune 100 Financial Services Company. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources to support and enhance the Workday Absence module. You will be responsible for gathering and refining business requirements, configuring Workday solutions, supporting development efforts, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality product releases. This position requires exceptional communication and collaboration skills, as you will work closely with executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and effective Workday solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with business leaders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements. Configure and maintain Workday Absence functionality based on business needs and best practices. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support development activities. Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring successful deployment of enhancements and releases. Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements to optimize Workday capabilities. Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve functional defects. Collaborate with technical teams on system enhancements, releases, and integration initiatives. Document business processes, system configurations, testing results, and user procedures. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Absence in an analyst or lead role
  • Strong experience gathering requirements, configuring solutions, and supporting testing
  • Deep understanding of Workday Business Process Framework
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with additional Workday modules (Payroll, Benefits, Core HCM, etc.)Experience supporting or partnering on Workday integrations
  • Prior Workday certification
  • Experience supporting Workday tenants in large, complex organizations
