Role Name: Active Directory Architect / Infrastructure Architect
Location: West palm Beach, FL - Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Active Directory / Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise in enterprise Microsoft infrastructure, Active Directory administration, DNS, server administration, automation, and endpoint management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining highly available enterprise infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage enterprise Microsoft Active Directory environments, including domains, forests, trusts, Sites & Services, replication, Group Policy, and authentication. Architect and administer DNS infrastructure, including DNS zones, records, forwarders, delegation, troubleshooting, and high availability. Perform Active Directory administration including user/group management, OU structure, GPOs, permissions, authentication, and access management. Troubleshoot complex AD, DNS, Windows Server, authentication, and replication issues. Manage Windows Server infrastructure and support enterprise-level server administration activities. Develop and maintain automation using Ansible for server configuration, deployment, patching, and operational tasks. Utilize Tanium for endpoint management, asset visibility, compliance, vulnerability remediation, software deployment, and system monitoring. Develop automation and administration scripts using Power Shell and other scripting technologies. Implement infrastructure security best practices, including privileged access management, authentication controls, hardening, and policy enforcement. Monitor Active Directory health, DNS performance, replication status, server availability, and infrastructure capacity. Participate in infrastructure modernization, migration, upgrades, and consolidation initiatives. Create architecture documentation, technical procedures, operational runbooks, and disaster recovery plans. Work with security, network, cloud, and application teams to resolve infrastructure dependencies and integration issues. Provide technical leadership, participate in design reviews, and mentor infrastructure/administration teams.
