JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Assembler in Ladson Start date- Tuesday and Thursday Responsibilities of a Assembler includes: Main Responsibilities: Disassemble lawn mower parts, including smaller components such as nuts and bolts. Wear the applicable PPE (steel-toe shoes), adhere to all warehouse safety rules, quality standards, procedures, and employee expectations. Properly remove the lawn mower and packaging from the box without damaging product. Follow instructions on identifying the bolt that needs to be replaced, safely removing the bolt from the lawn mower and then replacing with the correct bolt. Use a variety of hand tools to remove and replace nuts and bolts. Visually check mower components for damage and set aside for further instruction. After completing rework process, repack lawn mower in the box with the applicable packaging materials. Complete daily housekeeping tasks (ex: clean as you go and end of day routine) to ensure a clean and safe work area. Perform additional work-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (required). Experience in a manufacturing setting working as an operator, assembler, or disassembler (preferred). Must be able to read and follow work instructions to disassemble products correctly. Strong attention to detail. Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
