Launched on September 1, 2023, Prismic Life currently manages over $17 billion of liabilities. This is a contractor role for up to 24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and maintain the implementation of Prismic’s core platform portfolio, including Aladdin, ERP and general ledger, investment operations technology and supporting risk and operational tooling. Own the integrated implementation roadmap including scope, sequencing, dependencies, resource requirements, risks, readiness milestones, and key delivery decisions. Partner with Finance, Investment Management, Actuarial, Risk, Operations, Data, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into sustainable operating processes, controls, workflows, integrations, and reporting capabilities. Lead the Aladdin business workstream, including business requirements, data flows, operating processes, exception management, reporting, testing and transition to business ownership. Lead the ERP and general-ledger business implementation, including business implementation, including business process design, integrations, controls, testing, cutover planning and transition readiness. Drive implementation of the investment operations technology capabilities, including automation, data management, reconciliations, workflow orchestration, reporting and operational transparency. Support the Operational Risk Dashboard build by coordinating the definition and implementation of source data, taxonomy, workflow, automation, controls, and reporting for incidents, key risk indicators, control issues, remediation actions, owners, and due dates. Oversee business testing, validation, user acceptance, and production-readiness activities across assigned platforms. Manage implementation partners and vendors against agreed scope, deliverables, milestones, quality standards, and knowledge-transfer requirements. Partner with the CAITO organization to align business requirements, technology architecture, integrations, security, deployment plans and production-support models Partner with the Director, Enterprise Program to support governance executive reporting, issue resolution, dependency management, and enterprise decision-making Lead cross-functional teams consisting of employees, contractors, subject-matter experts, and external partners, ensuring accountability for delivery outcomes. Develop and execute transition plans that establish permanent ownership, operating procedures, training, support models, documentation, and post-implementation roadmaps.
Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience delivering complex platforms, finance, investment operations, or enterprise technology transformations in insurance, reinsurance, asset management, or financial services. Direct experience with investment-platform implementation, ERP or general-ledger transformation, or both; Aladdin experience is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of investment operations, accounting workflows, data integration, reconciliation, controls, testing, and production-readiness practices. Demonstrated ability to lead across business and technology teams and establish clarity across organizational boundaries Experience managing or coordinating systems integrators, software vendors, asset managers, and other external service providers. Experience leading complex workstreams, developing implementation plans, gathering requirements, coordinating testing, and supporting cutover and production readiness. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, delivery risks, and resource constraints in a matrixed environment. Strong written and executive communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and operational decisions in clear business terms. Ability to move comfortably between senior-level discussions and detailed implementation work. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; relevant accounting, investment, risk, or program credentials are preferred.
