Utility Service Worker II
Salary: $19.52 - $24.86STORMWATER DIVISION - VACTOR TRUCK: Performs semi-skilled work in maintenance of stormwater curb inlets and baskets in the Streets/Stormwater Division. Performs lead and skilled work in the operation of storm inlets and storm baskets; may oversee unskilled employees. Assists on vactor truck, cleans storm lines and storm systems; and also assists on TV inspection truck. Is required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
STORMWATER DIVISION: VACTOR TRUCK: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years of experience in public works construction, maintenance, operation of mid-size/heavy construction equipment and repair activities, preferably in the maintenance and repair of stormwater lines and manholes, operation, and maintenance of pumping stations; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B permit or higher required at time of application. Fully accredited Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher with tanker endorsement must be acquired within 6 months of hire.
