About the role
Overview
In this role you will lead and hands-on manage the UKG WFM environment for an enterprise manufacturing organization, guiding stabilization, completion of remaining implementation work, and ongoing optimization. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Operations and leadership to translate requirements into scalable UKG solutions that boost workforce efficiency and visibility. The role combines deep configuration expertise with advisory responsibilities across the business, from discovery to post go-live optimization. A principal objective is to maximize UKG value while delivering measurable business impact in a complex, global setting.

Responsibilities Serve as the hands-on UKG WFM subject matter expert and functional consultant across multiple business units Work directly within UKG WFM to understand configurations, functionality, processes, and improvement opportunities Translate business requirements into practical UKG WFM solutions Design, configure, test, and deploy UKG functionality aligned to business needs Troubleshoot configuration and system issues; identify root causes and sustainable fixes Identify opportunities to improve system performance, usability, and business value Lead or participate in full lifecycle UKG WFM implementations from requirements to stabilization Gather and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders Manage implementation priorities, timelines, stakeholders, issues, testing, deployment, and deliverables Coordinate UAT, issue resolution, implementation partners, UKG resources, and internal stakeholders Develop implementation plans, deployment strategies, training materials, and user guides Support go-live activities and post go-live stabilization Partner with Operations, HR, Payroll, managers and end users to understand workforce challenges Challenge processes and propose improvements to leverage UKG capabilities Recommend solutions aligning UKG with business objectives and quantify business value Build relationships across units and act as trusted UKG advisor Track problems from discovery to solution design, deployment, adoption, and optimization Analyze UKG and related data to identify trends and inefficiencies Develop workforce reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decisions Link workforce metrics to operational and financial goals Present insights to stakeholders and leadership Train managers and staff on UKG functionality and improved processes Create job aids, guides, and documentation to simplify UKG for nontechnical users Promote best practices and consistent UKG utilization across units Monitor new solutions for stability, adoption, and alignment Provide on-site support for critical issues when needed Travel ~25% to U.S. facilities and go-live locations, potentially Mexico
Key requirements 5+ years of experience with Workforce Management systems 3+ years of hands-on UKG Workforce Management experience Proven experience delivering full lifecycle UKG WFM implementations Strong hands-on UKG WFM configuration expertise Experience gathering and translating business requirements into UKG solutions Proven project/implementation management with ownership of deliverables Experience with UKG WFM, Dimensions, Pro Workforce Management, Kronos or related UKG solutions Experience with timekeeping, scheduling, attendance, accruals, labor management, and workforce processes Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis Ability to work with stakeholders to translate complex UKG functionality into practical solutions Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; experience developing workforce reports/dashboards Ability to manage competing priorities, timelines, and issues through the lifecycle Willingness to travel ~25% as needed (US facilities, go-live sites, possibly Mexico)Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Cross-functional collaboration Problem solving Strong communicationUKG WFM configurationUKG DimensionsUKG Pro Workforce Management
