About the role
To support a growing practice, the remote Director of Applied AI & Machine Learning will manage client engagements, shape AI and ML solution strategies, and mentor teams while driving technical credibility and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Set direction as a technical evangelist, shaping AI and ML conversations into compelling solution visions
Partner with sales and account teams to drive opportunity qualification and deal closure for AI and ML engagements
Guide and mentor architects and data scientists to ensure solution consistency and technical excellence
Required qualifications
10+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, Data, or Analytics roles with enterprise client exposure
Proven experience leading pre-sales or client-facing technical engagements, including solution design
Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Data & AI, particularly in Azure Data Services and Azure AI
Demonstrated success in influencing pipeline progression and closing deals exceeding $1M
Strong architectural mindset with the ability to design end-to-end Data & AI solutions aligned to client objectives
