Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 2:10pm-10:40pm; 10:20pm-6:20amQPS Employment Group has a great Paint & Finish position available at a company in Fort Madison, IA. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Paint & Finish Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform surface preparation and finishing processes on wind turbine blades. Inspect blades for imperfections, defects, and surface inconsistencies. Repair blemishes and surface damage to meet quality specifications. Apply coatings, sealants, and paint materials according to work instructions. Sand, smooth, and prepare blade surfaces for final finishing. Utilize hand tools and other equipment to complete repairs and finishing tasks. Read and follow work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift. Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing goals. Paint &

Finish Requirements: Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive repair, finishing, painting, or related fields is preferred but not required. Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Willingness to learn new processes and techniques. Ability to stand and move throughout the shift. Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting. Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment. Comfortable working with hands-on tools and materials for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the production process.
