Role Description: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategy of Network Security Consultants LLC. This position manages financial planning and budgeting, monitors cash flow, and ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. The CFO will analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making and long-term growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing accounting processes, maintaining internal controls, supporting compliance with relevant financial regulations, and collaborating with leadership on strategic initiatives and risk management. The CFO will also partner with external advisors as needed and provide clear, concise financial updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to support strategic decision-making and performance evaluation. Candidates should possess experience in Financial Planning and budgeting to guide long-term growth and resource allocation. Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or CPA/CFA is preferred. Proven experience in senior financial leadership, ideally within technology or professional services companies. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal control practices. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate complex financial information clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders.
