About the role
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICA Functional Consultant to support a large-scale Greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation within the utility industry. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for the SAP FICA module and play a critical role in shaping future-state business processes, reviewing solution designs, and supporting implementation activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strategic, multi-year enterprise transformation while working alongside industry experts, business stakeholders, and leading system integration partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the SAP S/4HANA FICA subject matter expert for implementation activities.
Review and provide recommendations on business process designs, functional specifications, technical artifacts, and solution architecture.
Support configuration and optimization of SAP billing and invoicing processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional project teams.
Participate in project workshops, design sessions, and daily stand-up meetings.
Provide guidance and resolution for SAP-related questions throughout implementation phases.
Assist in process standardization and redesign efforts as part of a Greenfield SAP deployment.
Work across multiple workstreams and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of SAP implementation experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.Deep expertise in SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable).Utility industry experience.
Experience supporting at least two SAP implementations (Greenfield and/or Brownfield).Strong experience with SAP billing and invoicing process configuration.
Proven implementation background, with a focus on project delivery rather than sustainment/support activities.
