About the role
Piper Maddox is looking to hire a Director of Regulatory Affairs for a startup Nuclear Technology company. We are looking for someone with at least eight years of nuclear industry experience working on licensing and regulatory efforts, and who is excited about being a vital part of the current Nuclear Renaissance!
Key responsibilities:
Manage the relationship and communication with the NRCHelp to build and develop the regulatory strategy based around strong engineering principals Own end-to-end licensing execution efforts, establishing strict principle-based standards while promoting streamlined, modern approaches to regulatory interactions Provide licensing and regulatory leadership to the team
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution in engineering discipline 8+ years of industry experience working on nuclear regulatory and licensing efforts, including experience leading a team Experience in 10 CFR part 50 and/or 10 CFR part 70 Ability to work onsite, travel, and attend in-person meetings This company offers competitive benefits and perks.
