About the role
Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare organization, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a growing Digital Analytics team. This role will serve as a Senior Business Analyst within the ITPMO while being embedded with the Digital Analytics team as a pseudo Product Owner. The right candidate will bring strong business analysis and requirements expertise along with a solid Agile mindset and the ability to operate effectively within a Product Owner function. This person will help manage the team backlog, translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories, facilitate prioritization with business partners, and ensure the development team has well-defined work ready for delivery. What the right candidate will enjoy: Working within a growing Digital Analytics organization supporting website and mobile experiences. Helping establish and strengthen Product Owner practices within an Agile environment. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, developers, Scrum Masters, and other Agile team members. Playing a key role in improving how business needs are translated into actionable requirements and product work. Working in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment with opportunities for long-term growth. What type of experience does the right candidate have:5+ years of Business Analysis experience with strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills. Experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a hybrid BA/Product Owner capacity within an Agile environment. Strong experience with Jira and managing requirements, user stories, and backlogs. Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements and work that development teams can consume. Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, SAFe, or other scaled Agile frameworks. Experience working with digital analytics, website/app analytics, or digital products is highly preferred. Exposure to Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics platforms is a plus. Strong communication, relationship-building, collaboration, and influencing skills. What the responsibilities are of the right candidate: Serve as the pseudo Product Owner for the Digital Analytics team while maintaining a strong Senior Business Analyst focus. Manage and maintain the team backlog, ensuring work is clearly defined and ready for development. Gather and elicit requirements from business partners and translate them into detailed requirements and user stories. Partner with business stakeholders to facilitate prioritization and ensure development work aligns with business needs. Work closely with developers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other Agile team members to clarify requirements and resolve questions. Support discovery and problem-solving efforts across digital analytics initiatives. Document business requirements, processes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation. Help the team operate effectively within an Agile framework by understanding and supporting the responsibilities of different Agile roles. Build strong relationships across the Digital Analytics organization and broader business teams. Navigate ambiguity and organizational complexity while influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
