IT Support Tech Enjoy solving technical problems and being the one people count on to keep their day moving? Join our established IT team in a hands-on support role offering an ongoing contract opportunity expected to continue year after year. Our support team has provided this critical IT support team to the Village of Schaumburg for many years - you'll continue their history of high quality, white glvoe level support. You’ll work alongside three other Sierra ITS technicians who support approximately 600 users, with your primary focus on about 100 employees at the main office. With 75% of support delivered in person, you'll build relationships, take ownership of issues, and see the impact of your work every day.
Qualifications: Hands-on PC and laptop troubleshooting and deployment Active Directory administration, migration, and cleanup Custom business application and Microsoft 365 support Basic server and networking knowledge Browser support, including Chrome and legacy Internet Explorer applications Windows 10 and 11 Additional experience preferred: Mobile device supportVMware maintenance Veeam and Backup Exec Municipal experience Military background Located in Schaumburg, 100% on-site Monday - Friday 8:00-4:00. Successful completion of a fingerprint-level background check and a drug screening is required.
