About the role
Project Engineer – Utility-Scale Renewables (Renewable Experience is Essential)Solar & BESS We are partnering with an established global power-generation company seeking a Project Engineer to support its growing portfolio of utility-scale renewable-energy projects. This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential to convert into a permanent position. You will provide engineering support across multiple projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, EPC contractors and technical consultants.
Location:
Remote within the Western or Central US. Texas is preferred; candidates in Colorado, California and Arizona will also be considered.
What you’ll do:
Support multiple utility-scale solar, BESS and power-generation projects simultaneously Conduct technical due diligence and engineering design reviews Review and coordinate EPC and consultant engineering deliverables Identify technical risks, design gaps and project interfaces Support projects through design, construction and commissioning Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Participate in occasional EPC and internal meetings requiring travel
What we’re looking for:
An engineering background supporting utility-scale renewable-energy projects Direct project-engineering experience within utility-scale solar, BESS or comparable power generation Experience with technical due diligence and engineering design review Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills Engineering degree
