Position Overview:
Regional School District #10 is seeking a skilled and reliable Auditorium Tech & Stage Support professional to assist with the technical operation and management of our school auditorium. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality production support for a variety of school and community events throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and operate theatrical lighting, sound systems, projection equipment, and general auditorium technical resources.
Provide technical support for major annual events, including: Approximately 3 drama productions per year
Annual school concerts
Outside organization events such as dance recitals, etc.
Support additional events as scheduled throughout the school year.
Manage the setup, breakdown, and general oversight of auditorium equipment and staging.
Ensure proper maintenance, functionality, and safe operation of all theatrical and technical systems.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of theatrical lighting and sound design, including equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Ability to program and operate show control software; familiarity with Q-Lab and X32 Mix preferred.
General understanding of theatrical staging, rigging, and equipment maintenance.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and outside groups.
