About the role
CONCRETE LEAD FOREMAN — Flatworx Concrete LLC 402-419-6583 Lincoln, NE Metro • Full-Time • On-Site Pour it right. Lead from the front. Flatworx Concrete LLC builds foundations, flatwork, and paving for residential, commercial, and small industrial jobs across Lincoln and the 402. We run lean, keep it safe, and take pride in clean work that holds up. We're looking for a Lead Foreman who can run a crew, own the finish, and keep jobs moving.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Run daily concrete operations from site prep through pour and finish Lead the morning huddle — walk the crew through the day's site, scope, goal, and target finish Plan and schedule the work; read and interpret plans and layouts Set, inspect, and strip formwork; manage placement and the right mix Direct finishing on flatwork and structures; hold the quality standard Run or oversee heavy equipment — excavation, grading, concrete handling Keep the crew lean and efficient — right people on the right tasks Split the crew when needed — put a right-hand lead on the second team with their own truck Enforce safety and OSHA practices, including silica dust control Manage tools, equipment, and vehicles — daily walk-around, keep them clean and running, report anything broken right away Track receipts, materials, and job costs; cut waste, order to need Coordinate with clients, suppliers, inspectors, and subs on schedule, progress, and field changes Train crew members and solve problems on site before they cost youWHAT YOU BRINGConcrete skills in formwork and flatwork; ready-mix placement and finishing Ability to operate or oversee heavy equipment (excavation, grading, concrete handling)Practical carpentry for building, adjusting, and stripping forms Experience leading crews and running daily site operations Solid grip on jobsite safety, OSHA, and safe equipment operation Can read construction drawings, specs, and layouts Clear communicator with clients, suppliers, inspectors, and crew Reliable transportation to Lincoln-area sites; ready to work in all weather Prior concrete foreman, lead, or supervisor experience; trade certs a plusWHY FLATWORXSteady work across Lincoln and the 402A crew that shows up and takes pride in the job Company vehicle and tools provided Direct line to the owner — daily communication, decisions made fast Pay based on skill set and experience
