Join us!Work Location: 6750 N MacArthur Blvd Ste 153, Irving, TX 75039Work Hours: Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, Occasional Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pmDepartment Highlights:Strong team collaborationCompassion and empathy to our patients and the teamJoin an innovative team working toward making healthcare more accessible, integrated, and reliableHere is what you will need:High School diplomaTwo years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferredBasic knowledge of cash handlingBasic knowledge of medical terminology, preferredAbility to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondenceAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but sometimes complex written or oral instructionsAbility to perform basic mathematic calculations: Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of timeExperience using Microsoft Office Suite: knowledge of RIS software preferredA Day in the Life of a Patient Service Representative:Provide services and support for the following areas:Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis WayGreet patients in a professional and friendly mannerCompletely and accurately register patients including: input of demographic and insurance information into our RIS (Radiology Information System) and verifying accuracy of existing informationExplain forms to patients and assist with form completion, via paper or tablet, as necessaryProcess necessary paperwork by scanning documents that need to be linked to the patient's medical record and maintaining confidentialityResponsible for collecting patient payments which can include explaining benefits given from insurance verification when necessaryPrepare paperwork for future appointments incorporating additional paperwork needed for specific exams or payors as necessaryEnsure all diagnostic tests have required orders, request as needed and follow-up on outstanding requestsSchedule and reschedule patients as necessaryGenerate daily invoice journal at the end of each day and reconcile payments using Daily Reconciliation ReportParticipate in front office training to stay abreast of front office policy and proceduresWhy Solis Mammography?A Great Place to Work for the third year in a row!Offer competitive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Backup Child/Adult Care as well as other unique benefits.
