About the role

General Clerk/Warehouse ClerkTuknik Government Services (TGS), a Koniag Government Services company, has an exciting opportunity to proudly support the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), in their mission to "uphold America's promise as a nation of welcome and possibility with fairness, integrity, and respect for all we serve." This position is at the National Records Center in an underground storage facility that spans more than 300,000 square feet, and houses millions of historical documents that our team maintains. In this role, you will be a valuable part of a dynamic team that manages the records and their movement both within the facility and from other USCIS locations. This position pays up to $18.00 per hour plus the opportunity for performance based bonuses. What You Will Need:

Preferred minimum two (2) years of work experience
Written, oral and interpersonal communications skills.
Reading and keyboard skills.
Time-management skills.

Requirement:

Be able to pass government background security clearance check (includes a criminal/credit check), as needed
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and retain a government public trust security level clearance.
Position requires ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds repetitively

Position requires ability to stand for long periods or sit for long periods, walk on concrete floors for substantial distances, bend/squat to reach lower shelves, climb ladders to reach upper shelving, push/pull carts loaded with files, transport objects using assistive equipment on a repetitive basis. Procedures, applies common sense understanding to carry out written, oral or diagram instructions. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
