Team members join a supportive environment that values student success and community impact.Role Description The Admissions Representative is a full-time, on-site position based in Reno, NV, responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process. In this role, the representative engages with inquiries via phone, email, and in person, conducts admissions interviews, and provides clear information about programs, prerequisites, tuition, and financial aid resources. The role includes following up with prospective students, supporting them through application and enrollment steps, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems. The Admissions Representative collaborates with campus staff to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to enrolled student and participates in outreach activities, such as information sessions or campus events. This position requires meeting enrollment goals while upholding ethical admissions practices and delivering a supportive, student-centered experience.Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospective students and families.Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.Customer service skills that support a helpful, responsive, and professional experience for all inquiries.Sales skills, including consultative advising, goal orientation, and experience working toward enrollment or performance targets.Training or coaching skills to guide prospective students through requirements, procedures, and next steps.Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, customer service, or a related field preferred.Ability to work on-site in Reno, NV, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM or student information systems; willingness to learn new tools.High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education or experience in higher education or healthcare is a plus.
