Radiology ConciergeThe Guest Services Attendant serves as a front-line ambassador within the hospital, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting patient safety, communication, and operational flow. This role ensures a welcoming and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, while also supporting administrative and communication functions including inbound call handling, coordination with radiology teams, and monitoring operational workflows.Guest Services & Patient SupportGreet all patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly, professional demeanorProvide wayfinding assistance and answer general inquiriesAssist with hospital registration processes as neededSupport patient needs including wheelchair assistance and coordination with nursing staffSafety, Compliance & Access ControlEnsure compliance with hospital health protocols, including face coverings when requiredScreen individuals for COVID-19, flu symptoms, or other health concerns as applicableEnforce visitor policies and location-specific access restrictionsMaintain awareness of and adhere to HIPAA and EMTALA regulationsCommunication & CoordinationHandle inbound calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departmentsHandle all communications with patient confidentialityFacilitate communication between radiologists, medical staff, and technologistsOperate paging systems and support internal communication workflowsMonitor radiology or departmental worklists and escalate issues as neededReport IT or system-related issues impacting radiology or operational flowOperations & Environment MaintenanceMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitized workspace, including front desk areas and equipment (e.g., wheelchairs)Support administrative tasks and assist hospital leadership as neededEnsure a professional and organized front desk environment at all timesAttendance and ProfessionalismMaintain regular attendance, adhere to company policies, and uphold PMC standards for safe and efficient parking operations.Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport evolving business needs by completing other tasks as assigned, attending required meetings and training, and maintaining schedule flexibility.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong customer service and interpersonal skills with a hospitality-focused mindsetAbility to communicate clearly and professionally in high-pressure environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow healthcare protocolsAbility to multitask and manage both in-person and phone-based interactionsBasic understanding of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, EMTALA preferred)QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious customer service, healthcare, or administrative experience preferredExperience handling phone systems or call coordination is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced hospital environmentCertificates and Licenses:A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this role, along with maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within a three-year period. Candidates must also pass and maintain a clean background check. No special certifications are necessary for this position.Work EnvironmentThe work environment for this role includes both indoor and outdoor, requiring collaboration with teams, vendors, and clients on-site and in corporate environments. Associates may frequently use computers, communicate via phone, and perform duties in or around corporate office settings.Physical DemandsRequirements may include extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift moderate weights when necessary.
