Key job responsibilities Develop comprehensive financial models and analyses that drive strategic business decisions Collaborate cross-functionally to transform innovative ideas into executable strategies Conduct deep-dive data investigations to uncover critical business insights Support financial reporting and performance evaluation processes Contribute to strategic roadmaps that enhance organizational efficiency A day in the life Collaborate with dynamic teams across Amazon's diverse business areas Develop comprehensive financial strategies that impact global operations Analyze complex data sets to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions Engage directly with senior leadership and present your innovative recommendations About the team The FLDP is a two-year program designed to develop high-potential MBA candidates. This occurs through providing FLDP participants with a broad understanding of the business, helping them build a robust professional network, and preparing them to be leaders in the organization. FLDP participants spend Year 1 ramping to Amazon and learning through on-the-job experiences as well as technical training. In Year 2, the focus will shift to leadership skill training through mentorship, soft skill training, and team rotation. Important Notes: All FLDP interns will be in Seattle, WA Internship start dates will be in May/June 2027 for a 12-week consecutive internship For returning full-time offers: Specific role and team placement will be based on business need and most full-time roles will be in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA Basic Qualifications Are 18 years of age or older Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a graduation conferral date between December 1, 2027 and June 30, 2028 Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. 3+ years of professional work (non-internship) experience Can relocate to where the internship is based Experience in finance or a related analytical field Experience with AI/ML technologies 3+ years of relevant full-time industry or military experience, which occurred between the conferral date from your undergraduate program and prior to starting your MBA or master’s program Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
