About the role

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Cleveland, OhioThis is a 13-week contract position. Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Weekends as needed. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide care for patients by administering respiratory therapy treatments, including but not limited to ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care. The RRT may float between various Cleveland Clinic facilities as necessary and is expected to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Administering respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed. Monitoring and reporting patients' progress and responses to treatment. Providing patient education on respiratory care and devices. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Maintaining and troubleshooting respiratory equipment. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).Active NBRC certification and BLS certification required at the time of submission. Current Ohio RRT license in hand. Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for submission. Must be nicotine free; negative 10-panel drug screen with nicotine testing required.
