We're conducting a confidential search for Remote DRG Validators to join a highly respected healthcare consulting organization that partners with hospitals nationwide to improve coding accuracy, clinical documentation, and reimbursement outcomes.
What You'll Do: ✔ Perform MS-DRG and APR-DRG validation reviews for inpatient medical records✔ Audit ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, DRG assignment, and provider documentation✔ Prepare clear audit rationales, physician queries, and appeal letters for coding denials✔ Educate coding teams on coding guidelines and best practices✔ Ensure compliance with CMS regulations, Official Coding Guidelines, Coding Clinic guidance, and UHDDS standards✔ Maintain exceptional quality standards with a target accuracy rate of 95–100%
What We're Looking For: AHIMA certification required (CCS, RHIT, or RHIA)5+ years of inpatient ICD-10-CM/PCS coding experience Extensive knowledge of MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies Experience with DRG validation, clinical validation, coding audits, CDI, quality assurance, or revenue integrity Strong written communication skills with the ability to write audit findings and appeal letters Experience with 3M, Tru Code, Epic, Microsoft Office, and other HIM technologies preferred Self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote environment If you're looking for your next opportunity in Revenue Integrity, DRG Validation, or Inpatient Coding, we'd love to connect with you!đź“© Send your resume for confidential consideration.
