About the role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a great opportunity for an infrastructure leader to guide the strategy and execution of both cloud and on-premises environments, in a hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments Develop and execute infrastructure strategy that balances cloud scalability with on-premises reliability Establish architecture patterns, cloud foundations, identity integrations, automation frameworks, and platform services that provide secure, scalable, and supportable infrastructure capabilities Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators Drive cloud migration initiatives while maintaining and optimizing existing on-premises systems Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness across hybrid environments Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new infrastructure tools and technologies Oversee infrastructure budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization Qualifications 10+ years of progressive infrastructure experience Proven experience managing both on-premises and hybrid cloud environments Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) alongside traditional infrastructure (servers, storage, networking)Experience leading and developing infrastructure teams Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills What Our Client OffersA genuine mix of legacy systems and modern cloud work — not just a "lift and shift" environment Real decision-making authority over infrastructure roadmap and tooling choicesA hybrid schedule based in Cleveland, OH that respects deep-focus infrastructure work Budget and support for pursuing cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.)A tenured IT team that values technical depth over titles
