About the role
- Lead and manage the estimating team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and competitiveness of all bid submissions.
- Own the bid intake process, evaluating opportunities & serve as the key point of contact to external contractors.
- Review and approve all estimates, proposals prior to submission, ensuring margin targets, scope of work and risk management standards are met.
- Develop and refine estimating processes, templates, and tools to improve speed and accuracy.
- Oversee the project management function.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.
- Establish and maintain project management standards, workflows, and reporting cadences. Develop SOPs.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex project issues involving customers, subcontractors, or internal teams.
- Support the supply chain process, Sales Order & fulfillment dates for delivery
- Manage field service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and quality assurance for installation and service work.
- Ensure field teams are properly trained, equipped, and operating safely in compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
- Coordinate with the estimating and project management teams to ensure seamless handoff from sale to field execution.
- Oversee warehouse, supply chain & logistics operations teams
- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Work across the production, supply chain, and administrative teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and track operational KPIs and dashboards to provide visibility into performance across all areas of responsibility.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
- Support the CEO in planning and executing initiatives tied to company growth and strategic objectives.
