Assistant Professor of Chemistry – Materials and Applied Chemistry The Department of Chemistry at the University at Albany, SUNY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position (Position ID: 205142) in Materials and Applied Chemistry, beginning Fall 2027. We are seeking an experimental chemist whose research addresses advanced materials and other areas of applied chemical science. The successful candidate will establish an externally funded research program and contribute to undergraduate and graduate education. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field by the time of appointment and demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching, mentoring, interdisciplinary research, and external funding.
