You’ll document results, support production teams by communicating findings, and help identify solutions to quality concerns. Throughout your day, you’ll conduct experiments that support product development, process improvements, and raw material evaluations while preparing customer samples and maintaining laboratory records. You’ll also help keep the laboratory organized, safe, and efficient while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that support TLC’s commitment to excellence. SHIFT DETAILS As our Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will work night shifts from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AMWHAT YOU'LL NEEDAssociate or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, or closely related scientific fieldorequivalent experience Ability to work in a laboratory and manufacturing environment Ability to collaborate with production teams on quality and technical matters Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, reach, bend, twist, and handle laboratory equipment and samples, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail Ability to pass a pulmonary function test (PFT) and meet respiratory protection requirements Ability to work safely around chemicals and manufacturing equipment, as well as, work around chemicals, fumes, vapors, airborne particles, and varying noise levels Ability to be exposed to hazardous or corrosive chemicals, vapors, fumes, airborne particles, moving equipment, and varying noise levels Ability to follow laboratory and safety procedures Ability to use PPE1+ years of laboratory experience in QC, R&D, chemical manufacturing, or a related field preferred Experience with laboratory testing, formulations, product development, data analysis, or process improvement preferred Recent graduates with relevant laboratory experience are encouraged to applyWHO WE ARE Join The Lewis Chemical Company (TLC), an employee-owned specialty chemical manufacturer where innovation, integrity, and people come first.
