Role Description:
The Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Warfordsburg, PA. This role involves designing and developing electrical systems for industrial equipment and facilities, including power distribution and control systems. Day-to-day tasks include preparing electrical drawings and specifications, performing calculations and load analysis, selecting components, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and production teams to support projects from concept through installation and commissioning. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, supporting maintenance and upgrades, and contributing to process improvements and safety enhancements.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and related documentation (schematics, layouts, and specifications).Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Distribution and Power Systems for industrial or commercial applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience with industrial or manufacturing environments and familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC).Proficiency with CAD tools and electrical design software; ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and safety-focused mindset.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with cross-functional teams.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure is beneficial.
Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and automation systems is beneficial.
