About the role

We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Washington, USA. As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. We are looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, and has strong analytical skills. Responsibilities Assist with day‑to‑day accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial records. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Participate in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Maintain records of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Proven work experience as a Junior Accountant or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software; QuickBooks preferred. Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and variances in financial data. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Salary: This is a contract position paying $900 per month. We welcome candidates of any nationality who have the required qualifications and are legally authorized to work in the United States.
