Job Description
Job Title: APRN/PA Neurosurgery
Schedule: Full-Time (36 Clinical Hours + 4 Administrative Hours)
Location: Nashua, NH
Department: Neurosurgery
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join our dynamic Neurosurgery team in Nashua, NH. This full-time position with a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of 2-3 Neurosurgeons and 4 experienced APPs to provide comprehensive care to neurosurgical patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- New patient evaluations
- Post-operative assessments
- Follow-up visits
- Participate in inpatient rounding in collaboration with attending physicians
- Contribute to patient management planning and coordination of care
- Participate in on-call coverage:
- Perform administrative duties during designated 4-hour weekly block
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Foster a team-based approach to care within a collegial and supportive environment
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an APRN or PA in NHPrior experience in neurosurgery or a surgical specialty preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
