Overview As a Software Engineer at Pave, you will help build the core compensation platform that informs how top companies plan, execute, and communicate pay. You’ll lead projects and ship features that power compensation workflows used daily by teams across large enterprises. You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Design, own your work end-to-end, and iterate rapidly based on customer feedback. Compensation / Benefitscomprehensive medical/dental/visionunlimited PTOremote-friendly / work-from-anywherelunch and dinner stipendseducation stipendpar parental leave Responsibilities Lead projects and build features at the forefront of compensation intelligence Develop data-intensive applications and core workflows Collaborate with Product and Design to ship user-facing solutions Own features end-to-end from conception to deployment Translate customer feedback into robust technical decisions and roadmaps Mentor engineers and influence design decisions across the team Operate with an execution-driven mindset in a fast-paced environment Key requirements 5+ years of full-stack, backend, or frontend engineering experience Proficiency with modern web technologies (Type Script and Node.js)Experience building data-intensive applications Strong product intuition and ability to translate user needs into technical decisions Proven ability to break complex problems into milestones and deliver with minimal oversight Technical leadership and mentorship abilities Execution-focused with ability to ship thoughtful solutions without overengineering Nice to have: experience at a B2B SaaS company during growth/expansionstrong communicationleadership and mentorshipcross-functional collaboration Type Script Node.jsfull-stack or backend/frontend experience
