Position Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for providing executive leadership and strategic direction to drive organizational performance, growth, and operational excellence. This role ensures alignment across all business functions while maintaining accountability for financial performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term value creation.This position summary outlines the general nature and level of work expected of this role. The Chief Operating Officer provides executive oversight of Human Resources and Safety functions, with respective leadership reporting directly into this role. This structure ensures alignment of workforce strategy, compliance, and safety performance with overall operational objectives.Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & GrowthProvide strategic leadership aligned with company vision, goals, and growth objectivesDrive revenue growth, profitability, and enterprise performance across all business unitsLead cross-functional initiatives that support scalability and long-term expansionBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and strategic partnersLead and own theOperations Sales Program (OS Program) as the primary driver of revenue growthIntegrate operations and sales to drivenew business, client expansion, and retentionTarget and secure opportunities acrosskey verticals and geographies , leveraging operational densityEstablish and enforcedeal qualification, pricing strategy, and contract execution standardsDrive accountability forpipeline performance, forecasting, and execution across leadership teamsOperationsOversee all operational functions to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality service deliveryImplement scalable processes, systems, and performance standards across all regionsEnsure alignment between corporate strategy and field executionMonitor service quality, contract performance, and client satisfactionFinance & Performance ManagementMaintain accountability for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controlsEstablish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance metricsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability and efficiencyEnsure disciplined financial management aligned with growth and margin objectivesHuman Resources & SafetyOversee talent strategy, leadership development, and succession planningEnsure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and workforce standardsProvide executive oversight of safety programs, policies, and performance metricsPromote a culture of accountability, safety, and operational disciplineLeadership & GovernanceDevelop and mentor senior leadership, fostering a high-performance cultureEnsure collaboration across operations, finance, HR, and growth functionsMaintain compliance with regulatory, contractual, and corporate governance requirementsProvide executive-level decision-making and organizational leadership supportQualificationsProven executive leadership experience (COO, CRO, or equivalent senior role)Strong track record of driving operational excellence and revenue growthDemonstrated success withoperations-driven or integrated sales modelsDeep understanding of multi-site, service-based operationsExceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred10–15+ years of progressive leadership experienceExperience managing large-scale operations and distributed teamsProven success in complex client and multi-state environmentsHybrid work model requiring routine presence at corporate headquarters and regular travel to current and prospective client locations to drive strategic relationships, business development, and operational oversight.Competitive executive compensation package including base salary, bonus, and incentivesComprehensive benefits including health, retirement, and executive-level perquisitesPerformance-based incentives aligned with company growth objectivesAdditional benefits as determined by company policySalary Range:- $180K - $200K plus up to 25% bonus opportunity
