Our services include professional window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, solar panel cleaning and related exterior property services. We are seeking an experienced, dependable and safety-minded Lead Window Cleaning Technician who can perform professional field services while coordinating an assigned crew and maintaining ASF's standards for quality, professionalism and customer service. This is a working field-lead position. Lead Technicians work alongside their assigned crew while helping coordinate daily field activities and communicating jobsite information to management. Compensation$24.00–$32.00 per hour Starting pay within the advertised range is based on relevant professional experience, demonstrated skills, qualifications and the responsibilities of the position. Employees assigned to covered public works projects will receive applicable prevailing wage rates as required by law. Overtime is paid in accordance with California law. What You'll DoWindow & Exterior Cleaning Perform professional residential and commercial window cleaning Perform interior and exterior glass cleaning Clean screens, tracks and skylights Operate water-fed pole systems Perform gutter cleaning and debris removal Perform downspout flushing Perform pressure washing and soft washing Perform solar panel cleaning and other assigned exterior services Complete jobsite setup and cleanup Protect customer property and maintain a professional worksite Field Crew Coordination Coordinate assigned daily field work Communicate job information and established work procedures to assigned crew members Conduct customer and jobsite walkthroughs Monitor completed work for quality and completeness Help technicians follow ASF-established work methods and procedures within the Lead's assigned responsibilities Support the training and development of technicians using ASF-established procedures and training materials Confirm required job photos, notes and documentation are completed Confirm assigned tools, equipment and materials are accounted for before leaving a jobsite Communicate delays, jobsite concerns and operational issues to management Escalate employee, safety or operational concerns to management when appropriate Lead Technicians operate within ASF-established policies, procedures, training and assigned authority. Customer Service & Job Documentation Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and office personnel Review assigned job information before beginning work Document pre-existing conditions or property concerns when identified Take required before-and-after photographs Complete required job notes and documentation using Jobber or other company-approved systems Conduct final jobsite walkthroughs as assigned Promptly report customer concerns, property damage, incidents or other significant issues to management Vehicle, Tools & Equipment Lead Technicians may be assigned responsibility for a company vehicle and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting assigned vehicle/equipment readiness checks
  • Confirming required equipment is loaded before departure
  • Keeping assigned vehicles and equipment reasonably clean and organized
  • Accounting for company tools and equipment
  • Promptly reporting missing, damaged or malfunctioning equipment
  • Completing end-of-day vehicle readiness procedures, including fueling when assigned
  • Operating company vehicles safely and in accordance with ASF policies and applicable traffic laws
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have:
  • Professional window-cleaning and/or directly related exterior-services experience
  • Demonstrated ability to perform professional window cleaning
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate an assigned field crew
  • Strong attention to quality and detail
  • Professional customer-service and communication skills
  • Dependable and punctual attendance
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to follow ASF-established operating and safety procedures
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to regularly handle and move the tools, ladders and equipment associated with assigned work
  • Ability to perform assigned work at elevation using required access and fall-protection systems after receiving applicable ASF training and authorization
  • Driving Requirement
Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the Lead Technician position. Candidates must: Possess a valid driver's license Meet ASF Clean Team's established driver-eligibility requirements Maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record Maintain continued eligibility to operate company vehicles throughout employment in a driving position Employment in this position may be conditioned upon satisfactory completion of ASF's applicable driver-eligibility review. Preferred Experience The following experience is valuable but does not replace ASF-required training, qualification or authorization: Commercial window cleaning Multi-story window cleaning Water-fed pole systems Extension ladder work Gutter cleaning Pressure washing or soft washing Mobile elevating work platforms/aerial lifts Fall-protection systems Commercial, HOA or institutional properties Public works or prevailing-wage projects Jobber or similar field-service software Crew-lead experience Prior industry experience does not authorize an employee to use equipment or perform work outside ASF-established procedures, training or assigned responsibilities. Safety Expectations Safety is a condition of employment at ASF Clean Team. ASF provides employees with training appropriate to their assigned duties. Employees may perform only work for which they have received required training, qualification and/or authorization. Lead Technicians are expected to: Follow ASF-established safety policies, procedures and training Follow job-specific safety instructions and applicable safety requirements Properly use required PPE and safety equipment Inspect assigned equipment as required before use Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, incidents and injuries Stop work and notify management when an assigned task cannot be performed safely under established proceduresCommunicate established safety requirements to assigned crew members within the Lead's assigned responsibilities Escalate observed safety concerns to management Lead Technicians and other employees may not bypass, disable, modify or disregard required safety devices, procedures or equipment. A Lead Technician does not have authority to independently modify ASF safety procedures, authorize unapproved work methods, or authorize an employee to perform work for which required training or authorization has not been provided.
