About the role
- Organizing, transcoding, and managing video and audio media
- Syncing multi-camera and multi-audio interviews in Premiere ProCreating and working with AI-generated transcripts
- Building and organizing Premiere Pro projects and timelines
- Pulling selects and conforming interviews to provided scripts
- Proofreading and incorporating transcripts, scripts, and subtitles
- Creating title treatments and credits
- Reviewing renders and exports for technical and editorial quality
- Managing company and client assets in Google Drive and Dropbox
- As you demonstrate proficiency, the role can quickly expand into more creative editorial work, including:
- Building edit assemblies from scripts and creative direction
- Editing rough cuts and incorporating producer/director feedback
- Working with clients through revisions
- Color correction in Premiere Pro/Lumetri
- Researching, selecting, and editing library music
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro CCExcellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Willingness to learn new technical workflows and software
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Professional video editing experience
- Experience with multi-camera/multi-track interview editing
- Familiarity with Descript, Syncaila, Google Docs, Dropbox, and/or RevInterest in art, museums, film, or cultural institutions
