Warehouse Associate – Weekend Night Shift
Location: Waynesville, NC 28786 Pay: $18.25/hr.
Shift: Weekend Nights (Hazelwood)

Position Overview:
We're hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating forklifts, loading and unloading shipments, receiving and organizing materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, organized, and comfortable working with warehouse equipment and computer systems.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, store, and stage materials.
Load and unload trucks and trailers.
Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming raw materials and components.
Pick and stage materials for production and shipment.
Use scanners, barcode equipment, and inventory systems to track materials and verify quantities.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records.
Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and production teams to support daily operations. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or issues that could affect production or deliveries.
Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE and use seat belts when operating forklifts.
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous forklift experience preferred.
Basic math, computer, and data-entry skills. Ability to use barcode scanners, printers, and labeling equipment.
Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with team members across departments.
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
Valid driver's license required if operating company vehicles.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts as needed.

Requires regular use of forklifts and material-handling equipment.
Must maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company and FDA requirements.
