About the role
- Lead prospecting efforts: research companies, make cold calls, send thoughtful outreach, and follow up with persistence and professionalism
- Conduct sales calls and meetings with prospective clients, both inbound leads and self-generated prospects
- Qualify leads and advance opportunities through our sales pipeline
- Review and QA fulfillment deliverables on select projects, using your construction industry knowledge to catch issues and ensure quality
- Travel to trade shows and industry events alongside the team to represent Phaser and build relationships
- Collaborate with the team to ideate new marketing initiatives and advance our reach in the construction space
- Support other teams on special projects and help where the business needs it most
- Maintain organized records of all prospect interactions and your pipeline
- Understanding of sales fundamentals: prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing techniques.
- Construction industry background or subject matter expertise. You have work experience or genuine expertise in construction (estimating, project management, operating experience, distribution, etc.). This is your competitive advantage.
- Outgoing, high-energy presence. You're comfortable in conversations, genuinely interested in people, and energize those around you.
- Curiosity and attention to detail. You ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and catch the details that matter.
- Reliability and follow-through. You own your commitments and do what you say you'll do.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
- Ability to manage your time and stay organized without micromanagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in digital marketing for service-based businesses is a plus.
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales tools is a plus.
- Network or relationships in the construction industry is a plus.
