About the role
Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital is seeking a full-time BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join their experienced team of hospitalists in Presque Isle, Maine. This hospital-employed role offers an engaging practice setting with 12-hour shifts and no call requirements, allowing clinicians to deliver high-quality inpatient care. Both new graduates and experienced candidates, as well as those with an interest or experience in Infectious Disease, are encouraged to apply.

89-bed acute care hospital located near the Canadian border in Presque Isle, Maine
Practice provides 24/7 inpatient care, including a 25-bed Med Surg Unit and a 6-bed open ICU
On-site specialist teams include orthopedics, cardiology, vascular, oncology, interventional radiology, and pain/physiatry
Full anesthesia and ancillary support staff
Affiliation with medical schools, with oversight of medical students
Responsibilities:
Consult and manage care with on-site specialist teams that include orthopedics, cardiology, vascular, oncology, interventional radiology, and pain/physiatry
Provide oversight of medical students
Compensation
$304,307 - $365,569 annual base salary
Ability to earn additional compensation based on quality incentives

Shift & Schedule
Full-time
