About the role
Adjunct Instructor of Public HealthThe Department of Public Health Sciences and Administration at the College of Charleston invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Public Health as an open application pool as needed by department. The successful candidate will teach courses relevant to their academic background and professional experience. Courses may include, by are not limited to, Introduction to Public Health, Personal and Community Health, Global Health, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's in Public Health or a closely related field
- Demonstrated teaching experience
- Strong commitment to student-centered pedagogy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience at the college level as the instructor on record

The Department of Public Health Sciences and Administration (PHSA) equips students to address today's most pressing health issues through interdisciplinary coursework, applied learning, and hands-on experience. Our programs provide multiple pathways for students interested in improving population health, managing healthcare systems, and using data and technology to drive better outcomes.
