About the role
To support community revitalization efforts, the full-time Community & Land Use Planner will engage in brownfield redevelopment, utilize GIS for analysis, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration while working remotely within the Northern Appalachia service area.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate community engagement activities and support public outreach related to brownfield redevelopment
Develop and maintain GIS databases and create visualizations to identify redevelopment opportunities
Facilitate communication among stakeholders and present planning information to diverse audiences
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Design, or a related field
0 - 4 years of applicable experience
Proficiency with technical software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Valid Driver's License and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records review
