About the role
Lead Dog Recruiting is assisting a renewable natural gas client with a search for a Sales Engineer. The role is remote, but you must live in the US and not require any sort of sponsorship. This role will support the sale of new natural gas fueling stations by providing the technical acumen and support to help clients understand our products and services and what differentiates us from our competitors by performing the following duties: Accompany the sales team on presentations to potential customers to answer technical questions, provide input on fuel station design, and estimate costs related to fuel station construction. Visit proposed station construction sites to access project feasibility and develop proposed installation layouts. Size and specify equipment to ensure it meets the fleet needs of the customer. Prepare internal cost estimates for projects by soliciting quotes or estimates from internal and external providers including construction, engineering, equipment, freight and project administration costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Technology or related experience At least 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience selling or providing technical / engineering sales support for equipment, ideally with gas compressors (natural gas, air, nitrogen, hydrogen, etc.)Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with aspects of mechanical, civil and electrical engineering and civil, electrical and mechanical construction practices.
