Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge Required by the Position

- Ability to ensure proper police practices and procedures are followed

- Ability to operate a computer terminal to enter and retrieve data

- Ability to read, interpret, apply and explain codes, rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
Supervisory Controls: This person works in the Police Department under the direct supervision of the Records Clerk Supervisor.
Guidelines: Guidelines for this position include city ordinances, departmental policies and procedures and relevant state and federal laws. These guidelines are clear and specific.
Complexity: The position consists of related administrative and clerical tasks.
Scope and Effect: The purpose of this position is to log and maintain police records for investigative and statistical reports.
