Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity? Do you enjoy building relationships, have a customer focused mindset and experience building financial solutions for your clients? Do you want to be a member of a highly productive, industry leading team of Treasury Management professionals?As an Energy Treasury Management Officer with RBC, you will help grow a new business within an established top tier financial institution by cultivating new cash management relationships across our well established Energy Capital Markets and Corporate Banking teams. You will leverage your deep treasury product knowledge to develop and execute an industry focused sales strategy while developing partnerships with Client Relationship Mangers, Investment Bankers, Account Management, Product and Operations teams. What will you do? Must be able to persuasively articulate RBC's US Cash Management value proposition persuasively both internally and externally.Grow RBCs capital markets client base and drive revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new cash management opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships. Facilitate strategic dialogue focusing on key client-centric topics, deliver industry benchmarking insight, and partner cross functionally to contribute to the design of a tailored end-to-end cash management solution.Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers, Account Management, and Product to bring forth client insights that will drive solution development and enhancementRaise new solution ideas while partnering with internal product stakeholders to represent the client perspective in the development and evolution of products and solutions Deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects and clients on working capital solutions at client roundtables, industry conferences, webinars, and professional media platforms Devise and execute a plan to exceed sales goalsAccountable for the development of a sales pipeline of both new and cross-sell opportunities and appropriately managing those opportunities through to decisionPOSITION CAN BE BASED IN NEW YORK, HOUSTON OR DALLAS What do you need to succeed? 5+ years of cash management, sales and relationship management experience Success developing new business with focus on prospecting utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and colleaguesStrong time management, organizational and planning skills Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor Aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clientsExperience covering the Energy sector preferredWhat's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
