About the role
About OSSA OSSA New York makes jewelry-inspired phone accessories: wristlets, crossbody straps, cases, and charms designed to be worn, not just carried. Our pieces are stocked at Moda Operandi, Nordstrom, Shopbop, and FWRD, and our patented attachment system is ours alone. We're a small, close team that cares about design, detail, and how things feel in the hand.
The role:
We're looking for a Retail Associate to be the face of OSSA in our store. You'll help customers find the right strap, case, and charm combination, style pieces to their phone and personal look, and make every visit feel personal and unhurried. This is a hands-on role at a growing brand, and you'll have real input into how the store runs.
What you'll do:
You'll welcome and style customers, process sales and returns through Shopify POS, keep the floor merchandised and displays sharp, track inventory and receive shipments, and share customer feedback with our design and sales team. You'll also help with in-store events and occasional content for our socials.
What we're looking for:
You have [1+ year] of retail or client-facing experience, ideally in fashion, accessories, or jewelry. You have a strong eye for styling, you're comfortable starting conversations, and you take pride in a well-kept space. Weekend availability is required. Experience with Shopify POS is a plus.
