Job Title: Legal Consultant - II Location: Bernards New Jersey 07920 Duration: 6 months, with Potential to extend to full 30 months or eventually FTE Type: Contract Pay Rate: $24 per hour on W2Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable professional to support a law-enforcement customer by processing high-priority cases, calls, and case information involving sensitive and potentially life-threatening situations. The role requires 100% accuracy, sound judgment, strong customer service, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities: Process and document high-volume cases and information received from law enforcement agencies. Handle and support calls involving emergency situations. Accurately enter, review, and maintain case notes and information across multiple systems. Use and navigate multiple technical systems and applications after completing a comprehensive 5-week training program. Exercise sound judgment and common sense when making decisions and escalating issues. Provide professional customer service while working with law-enforcement personnel. Maintain strict attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy when handling sensitive information. Work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where every second matters.
Required Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic understanding of legal terminology/processes. Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn multiple systems quickly. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain 100% accuracy in documentation. Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and common sense. Ability to handle stressful and sensitive situations professionally. Must be available to work any shift. Must successfully complete the 5-week mandatory training with perfect attendance and punctuality.
