Role Summary/Purpose:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical contractor to support our growing Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Search initiatives. This role will help drive strategic projects, build executive-ready presentations, conduct research, coordinate project activities, and support reporting and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about the evolution of AI-powered search, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Required Experience:
2-5 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, content strategy, analytics, consulting, or a related field. Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong research, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SEO, AI Search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), or emerging search technologies. Experience gathering requirements and conducting stakeholder interviews. Experience developing executive-level presentations and business recommendations. Exposure to analytics, reporting, and performance measurement frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Program Support Support day-to-day execution of GEO and AI Search initiatives across multiple workstreams. Coordinate activities, timelines, and deliverables for strategic projects. Manage administrative and operational tasks required to keep projects moving forward. Research & Process Development Conduct market, competitor, and industry research related to GEO and AI Search. Assist in designing and documenting scalable processes, playbooks, and operating models for GEO programs. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across GEO initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Interview internal stakeholders to understand current capabilities, pain points, and gaps within GEO offerings. Gather and synthesize feedback into actionable recommendations and project deliverables. Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive execution. Reporting & Analysis Assist with GEO reporting, analysis, insights generation, and distribution of results. Support the development of dashboards, scorecards, and performance summaries. Translate data and findings into clear recommendations for leadership. Executive Communications Build and maintain executive-ready presentations and project updates. Support the development of strategic recommendations, business cases, and leadership communications. Create clear, compelling visual storytelling materials for senior leaders. The ideal candidate is: Curious about AI, search, and emerging digital marketing trends. Comfortable working in ambiguity and building structure where processes are still evolving. Detail-oriented while maintaining focus on strategic objectives. Highly adaptable and capable of managing competing priorities.
