About the role

I’m working with a fast-growing space technology company that is building out a new aerospace production facility in Denver, and we’re looking for an experienced Facility Manager to take ownership of the site from build-out through full operations. This is much more than traditional facilities management. Initially, you’ll represent the business throughout the facility renovation, working closely with the general contractor, coordinating permits and inspections, and making sure the finished site meets the operational requirements of a high-tech aerospace environment. Once operational, you’ll take ownership of the facility, including cleanroom and production environments supporting satellite integration and test. Key areas of responsibility include:🛰️ Cleanroom and aerospace production environments🔐 CMMC 2.0 and ITAR facility compliance🏢 Building systems, preventive maintenance and day-to-day operations🛡️ Physical security, access control and surveillance⚡ ESD and contamination control👷 Contractor, vendor and service management📋 EHS, OSHA and audit-ready documentation🏗️ Supporting the current renovation through certificate of occupancy We’re particularly interested in speaking with people who have 5+ years of experience managing industrial, manufacturing or technical facilities, ideally within aerospace, defense or another highly regulated environment. Experience working within ITAR, CMMC or comparable security requirements is important, alongside a strong understanding of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety. Experience with satellite or spacecraft production facilities, ISO-classified cleanrooms, NIST SP 800-171, NISPOM, AS9100 or government/defense security environments would be a major plus. This is a rare opportunity to help build the operational foundations of a growing space company and have genuine ownership over how a new aerospace facility is established and run. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
