About the role

Community hospital looking to bring on Director Quality/Safety! Bonus Incentive Program and Relocation! Responsible for providing strategic oversight and guidance to service areas by leading the development and implementation of quality programs and initiatives; serving as a leader and expert on clinical quality management programs and initiatives. Proactively monitoring performance metrics and performance improvement activities; championing and overseeing the use of evidence-based guidelines and criteria to optimize clinical outcomes; directing accreditation, licensing, and regulatory activities and ensuring compliance in all applicable settings, including compliance with administrative, legal, and regulatory requirements; partnering with and directing medical staff service areas to support peer review, practitioner performance review, and oversight processes; and developing, evaluating, and managing ongoing improvement systems to reduce care delivery risk and medical errors.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Master’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, or Healthcare Administration, or enrollment in a Master’s program Must be an RN with Experience leading a Quality Department. Must have experience at the Director level and above. Must have inpatient experience Preferred (1 or more) - Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), Certified Patient Safety Officer (CPSO)
