The opportunity: The primary function of the Spinning Technician is to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on spinning equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance and equipment repairs. Troubleshoot machinery issues and report problems to management. Maintain spinning equipment, including spindles, bearings, belts, and filter systems. Communicate effectively with machine operators and team members. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and required PPE. Use computer systems to locate parts and maintain inventory needs. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements: Mechanical/technical experience preferred. Basic computer skills. Ability to work a 8-hour shift while standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a cotton dust environment with temperatures of approximately 85–87°F. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality.
