Location: Southampton, New York Reports to: PublisherPURPOSEModern Luxury is a luxury lifestyle publisher with 75+ titles across 24 major markets, reaching more than 18 million affluent readers. Through its local publications, digital offerings, and events, Modern Luxury connects luxury brands with audiences in the communities they serve.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Modern Luxury is seeking a Junior Account Executive for its Hamptons market. This person will develop leads across local business categories and present Modern Luxury’s print, digital, and event offerings to clients and prospects through in-person sales meetings. The Junior Account Executive will build relationships with business leaders, clients, media agencies, and creative agencies; develop sales and marketing programs across Modern Luxury titles; and provide attentive service to clients. The role includes maintaining an active pipeline, keeping the CRM database current, and working with the sales team to identify new opportunities. The Junior Account Executive will work toward monthly revenue goals, support Modern Luxury Hamptons events, and attend networking and industry events throughout the Hamptons.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must live in the Hamptons. Must have a car and be able to travel throughout the Hamptons for client meetings and events. Bachelor’s degree required. Demonstrated sales ability and a record of meeting goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Google Docs; Mac experience is a plus. Ability to work well with a team and manage relationships with clients and prospects. Spanish language skills are a plus.
